steering u joint

OK someone clear this up for me 1987 fj60 and the lower ujoint is shot very loose . Heard about the late 60 to early 70 toyota corolla driveshaft u joint, so went out and got one for an 69 and it ain't the one anyone help me out and can the top one get replaced also. Help me on the quest for tighter steering. or if anyone has a spare good shaft cheap

Hi bryon,im from oz and a bloke down here has been asking the same questions,I did mine last week but the uni's I bought were for a 70-74 corolla with jap driveshafts,one of the uni's I got is a precision uni joint from a mob in chicago,I dont know if it will help but under the part label from my local supplier the label under that looks like the original one from precision,its impossible to seperate them,I tried,I got one corner off where there was large no's underneath to see what that no was,and it just has no 395,hope this helps.
