Afternoon folks.
This past weekend my family and I were coming home down the interstate and hit a pretty steady patch of road that is being scraped up for repaving. The GX470 front end went all over the place and was pretty nerve racking to say the least. My power steering fluid is at its proper level, no leaks, yet the bushings are from 2004 and could use replacing. Has anyone done this update as the local Lexus dealer told me they were unserivable and a full rack was needed. This may be the case with some racks, but how come its possible to purchase replacement bushings all day long for my vehcile for this exact 2004application?
Thoughts and guidance is greatly appreciated.
Best,
Michael
