Last year I moved from the 4Runner to the LC and was pleased to be done with the constant steering corrections of the 4Runner. Now as I move to the LX, is it safe to assume the same steering feel as the LC? A review by CNET noted the need for steering corrections on the LX. While CNET is anything but an automotive authority, it caught my attention.

thanks.

I just traded in our 2019 LX570 on a new LC. While they are extremely similar I felt like the steering on the LX was slightly heavier than that of the LC. Different wheels sizes and the adjustable steering/suspension response could obviously play a factor as well. I wouldn't worry about it being darty, we had three 5th Gen 4Runners so I know what you speak of and neither the LX or LC have that issue.

My Perspective from 3 different vehicles. Others may have different experience.
2016 4runner trd pro - vague steering...constant correction on the highway. Uneven tire wear in the first 10k. Multiple alignment attempts did not fix it. Tried a few at the dealer lot to rule out the nittos, seemed to behave the same in different trims.
Gx 460 - 2017. No issues with centering.
Lx570 2019 used - No issues with centering.
I guess there is better qc for the lexus.

Super...thanks very much. That's what I was expecting.
