Steering Boot Tear and Slight Leak, Advice Needed.

Hey CSC!
Was doing an oil change today on the 03 LX and noticed some wetness on the drivers side steering boot. Invistaged further and saw the boot is slightly torn along the inner clamp. I’ve had the truck for 15k now and PS fluid has stayed right in the middle of the resovior.
Is it as simple as replacing a boot or am I doomed and need a steering rack.
And advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

That's awesome! I bought mine about the same time and I think I'm still under 1,000 miles.

Some owners had good luck with AT-205, even with 350k miles steering rack. I remember your LX470 has low miles, I would flush the steering fluid and give AT-205 a try before getting a new rack.

Also discovered in service records, rack was already replaced 4 years and 40k ago.... any other thoughts?
