My lift is on, OME system from Treaty Oak, and now shopping for rims and tires. I really like the subdued look of the FJ Cruiser steel rims and think I'll go with a set of them. Understand there is difference in stock rims and the steel rims; +25 for the stock rims and + 14 steel rims. So does this mean I need to use some spacers in order to push the tire out to about the same amount as the stock rim - say +11 if anybody makes that size. Am I going in the right direction?

Edit: Are offset dimensions in millimeters or inches.

Offset is most definitely measured in millimeters as inches would be scary. Stock being +25 and steel fj wheels being +11 means the steel wheels will actually stick out 14 mm more than the stock wheels so about a 1/2 inch or so

Thanks for clearing that up Tanaman. 1/2 inch is not too much, I would think. I want as close to stock sticking out the fenders for a little added track width but not enough to sling mud and look dorky. Gonna run a somewhat narrow tire.
