Whoa what happened there?? I always use that place and have never had any problems with any of the workers or management. It all depends on what has happened and if she has any documented proof etc...

It's a very long story where the owner played the victim when she had to take a decent amount of time off due to a miscarriage happening (along with another illness that came on at the same time and likely caused the miscarriage), and then screwing her over at every opportunity when she tried to come back to work. She ended up filing a complaint against him with the EEOC, which they investigated, found him guilty of a bunch of illegal (and just unethical) stunts with the business and his treatment of employees, and come to find out it was the third time he's been in trouble with them. She ended up confronting him about his bull**** (bluntly) and he fired her.

The rest of the employees there were great and she loved working with them, but the owner is just a giant self-entitled douchebag.

That's totally BS though. Sorry to hear about the miscarriage too!!! Hope she is doing better, as well as you!
I'm hoping she was able to get unemployment at least
