ah but the thing is that the owner knows the difference....and yea metal fab companies could make one...but if it was just one then the cost would be huge and you would be better off buying the one off ebay for 500, prolly cheaper

While I have a few of them in store (with some dents that can be fixed but not perfect enough to get the piece chromed), making new ones would be feasable only if there are a 100 pieces tha can be sold at least. If that can be done, I can get into getting a die made for this..It would be a cost-prohibitive venture here in the USA.
Ehsan made them back in ’03, and they were a limited run deal. A similar thread was going on PPB and he posted about making them again, but I would not hold your breath.
Purchase a ‘glass one and move on. They are nice and 99% of the Land Cruiser people out there will not know the difference.
After all this talk about high dollor bezels, I had some tamperproof screws made up in stainless for bezel owners if anyone is interested. Sorry Ige.
What color scheme is correct on the original bezel? - presumably it's supposed to be painted white, but were the embossed letters supposed to be body color, or red, or just white like the rest of it?
Steve
could you take an existing bezel and press the letters into it?

if you could allow for stretch to keep the bezel from deforming, i don't know why not.
exactly, make the stamp, then fix any deforming.
look at the work Ehsan and his guys do, they are amazing.
