Does anyone have experience with these?
Looking to get a set to mount 35x14.5x15 TSL SX's on.
The rims are 9" wide, 3.5 offset and weigh 36 pounds.
Would the tire be to wide for the rim?

IMO, too wide. I've run the 36/12.5/15 TSL/SX on 8" wide & 10" wide rims before. When aired down, the 8" rims give you a marshmallow feel or bouncy ride & the 10" seemed I was hitting my diffs more on rocks on the same trail I was going on w/ the 8" rims. So, I'd say you'll be just right w/ the 9" wide rims.

I will be running these in a few weeks. They actually make an attempt to sell their product and it shows on the website. Can't say that for 90% of the vendors out there who simply post a stupid picture.

I think it's a winner. I will also be color matching the rings to my Toyota Blue paint. Kinda silly on an off road truck but sometimes ya gotta embrace the bling ;)

I ran some 35/15.5's on my cruiser a while back.. 12" wheels with 2" backspacing.. Kinda looks goofy now that i see the old photos.

you may get them to fit, but a 10-12 would be better.

I run 16" wide tire on10" wide rim. You should be fine.

Hey OB i thought you are gonna run some 40" this year?

Yea-wishful thinking right now. Between the cost of beadlocks and 40's the price would be around $3K!
I'll probably just stick with my current 35's for this season, if it sees 100 miles of trails a year I'd be lucky. We only average about 5 miles a day when we wheel!

Funny enough, my SX's are off my 40 that I bought a dozen years ago, it looked exactly like the other posters just without the hard top.

I am running some 37x14x17 iroks on my spyderlocks and with them being bead locks you should not have any issues with it only being a 9' rim. I have had a couple issues loosing air through the inner bead in really rocky areas but am not sure if htat has anything to do with tire width. I know that I have been very happy with the wheel as well as the customer service they provide.

Another wheel to look at would be Hutchinson. They are the ones that make all the military bead locks. They have some good designs and are Doulble Bead Locked.

how do beadlocks feel on the road? I thought it was impossible/next to impossible to balance a tire on beadlocks. I thought I had also heard they aren't street legal.

I just wondered how they fel t at higher speeds, like 40 plus.

If this is the same thing as what a friend put on his 40 last year (red one in pic) - I think he was pretty pleased with them, running new 39" Krawlers. They are definitely a good looking wheel. I have no balance problems with the old Walker Evans beadlocks at any speed - but they're made in China now - so if I ever buy again, I'll be focusing on a supporting vendor who attempts to manufacture here (I know that's getting harder and harder, but it's a big ask in my book).

Also - I still think the TSL/SX is an incredible tire. I ran a set of hand me down worn out 38.5's that I siped - installed them on new Stazworks beadlocks and they were tough as nails at just a few lbs of air. Passed them onto a friend who was having a horrible time with 39" Boggers and he started making lines look easy that he could never have made with the Boggers.
