Most, if not all, of the houses in Carova are weekly rentals. I guess you were looking at the Twiddy site?
There are houses of all shapes and sizes up there, and $800-$1000 split 10-12 ways for the week is cheap beach rental.

Dates are set, as no one chimed in as having a conflict and some have already asked off.
If we get a beach house for the week, we can split it so that it works in everyone's benefit. Total price of house divided by # of days = per day cost. The per day cost will be split per the number of people staying that day. If we can only get a house in a one week block, and we're just interested in an extended weekend (say Thursday-Sunday) we'll make calculation adjustments.
I'll start looking for houses to accomodate the number of bedrooms needed. I'n most cases these houses have a lower playroom (pool table, TV, etc.), so maybe some of the kids can have a slumber party downstairs. Then the adults can have some adult beverage time.
In any case, I'll post up the house particulars before booking it.

I'm trying to make it the same, however I'm afraid my wife will be left with zero days off after a trip with me to France for work, and one child tracked out of school. So, I'll look into options for the house situation and make the call. Regardless it should be a long weekend (very long weekend for us)...
I'm trying to convince the better half to go. Count us as a maybe for a long/very long weekend. I'll keep watching to see what the house options work out to be and see what we can do.

We are about 12hrs away when you consider I am driving a 2f with 4 kids. So my thinking is if I can get the whole week for under $400 why not.
