The Stones River Fraternal Order of Police is hosting the 2nd Annual Spring into Summer Cruise on June 11th to help raise funds for our "Cops and Kids for Christmas" & "Senior Gift Basket" programs. Motorcycles, Convertibles & 4WDs are all welcome. So, break out that Land Cruiser, 4Runner or Mini Truck and join us as we cruise the backroads of Middle Tennessee to benefit the youth and senior citizens of our community.

This years ride will be held on Saturday, June 11th. We will begin at LifePoint Church in Smyrna and wind our way east through Tennessee's beautiful backcountry. The ride will be approximately 100 miles with a lunch stop half way through. You can choose to buy lunch at local restaurants or pack your own to enjoy.

The ride will leave the church parking lot promptly at 10:00 AM. Arrive early for registration. Registration will befin at 08:30.

Your $20 ticket (per vehicle) will get you in the ride and enter you in a prize raffle. Contact me to buy your ticket today! If you own a local business and would be willing to donate prizes for the raffle, please give me a call.

All proceeds will go to the Stones River Lodge Foundation, which funds the annual “Cops and Kids for Christmas” and “The Senior Gift Basket Program”. Additional donations are welcome and appreciated.

Rain date: June 18th

Last year we had a great turnout of Harley Davidsons, Hondas, Yamahas, Jeeps, and ONE Toyota. Come join us and help me represent the STLCA well!

Since this is an on-road ride, your rig must be street legal.

Cool! I will donate to the raffle, as I have a food business...

Thanks Joel!

Do you have a map of what roads and where it will end ?

I think my wife and I will attend , I'll get in touch with you soon. What is the deadline to sign up or can it be done the day of ?

Might be a good ride for her new ride.

@FJCRAWLER The route hasn't been finalized, but as soon as I find out I'll post up here. There's no deadline for signup. The day of is fine.

@jynx, Join in on the fun and you can see the new ride.

Who's coming?

It's been awhile since I posted this. I want to bump it up.

This will happen this Saturday. The address for the church is 506 Legacy Drive.

From what I understand, there will be a large contingency of Heeps. Let's make sure the Toyota's and Lexus' show up too.

Call me if you have any questions. Check the first post for more details.

This is an on-road event. It's like a traditional charity motorcycle ride but we include offroad rigs (and any others that want to join in on the fun.)

25 Jeeps are coming. How many Toyotas will we have? 2 confirmed so far. Who's in?

I just realized that the time wasn't posted above. I just edited that information.

Registration begins at 8:30.
Ride starts at 10:00.

There may be ice cream available for @htburnett and @FJCRAWLER.

Sorry buddy. I'll be out of town this weekend. Someone else has promised me ice cream.

On the fence. Might go to the equipment auction in Lebanon. If I decide to come to the ride ill give you a call. I will be in the Rover if we come. The Runner isn't legal.

Oh, they gotta be legal.... Well that knocks out pretty much all my junk right now. For reals though, I will have to see what's going on on the farm front, but regardless count me in for at least the price of admission. I will get with you on the particulars.

@jynx That 4Runner is legal! Bring it out.
