Wanted Spokane: Slip Yoke - 1978 FJ40

I am in need of a slip yoke for my front drive line 1978 FJ40. I tried to replace my U Joint and the holes have been bent and are now oblong.

Yes that is what I was looking for. I think as long as it came off a 4 speed it should be the same. I heard the front and rear drivelines have the same slip yoke as well. I may have a lead on one here in Spokane that I cam going to check out next week and will let you know.

Most that I have seen, do not have the clips on the end, they have C clips on the inside of the yoke and flange.

not sure what you are talking about. I’ll be glad to take more pictures. I don’t know if it is off of a 3 spd or 4 spd.

3spd have c clips on the outside of the ujoint caps so they are quite visible. 4 speed clips aren't very visible because they are on the inside of the ears of the yoke (at the bottom of the ujoint cap). Hope that helps.
