Speedo Not working (1 Viewer)

Hi this is my first post but here goes.

i own a 92, 80 series and the speedo reading has not worked for the last copple of weeks.

when you do arround 100 km the reading is about 20 km.

could any one tell me where the main points that need to be checked to see if there is any damage.

i have look though the tech fourms and there is only info on haw to adjust the cable.

I agree with concrete. Is the truck lifted, bigger tires, gears etc....basically has anything been done to screw it up from its stock calibration. Even though none of that would throw it off that far. So yes I return to agreeing with concrete. Oh and welcome.......

This probably isn't the reply you are looking for but you could get a new garmin forerunner gps on Amazon for $55--tells you exactly how fast you are going regardless of mods.....

It would be quick and easy to pull out the speedo sensor to verfiy none of the teeth were broke etc. Not sure how similar the 92 is to the others but here's a link to how to swap one out. 15 minute job.
