Speed? What Speed?

Wednesday (2/11/15), I was driving from Austin to Houston and minding my own business, checked my speed while passing through Bastrop (small town outside of Austin on Hwy 71 crawling with cops), I see this. Drove 2 1/2 hours and speed remain at zero. Next morning all is good and still working to date.

Called the Lexus dealer and they couldn't find any thing wrong.

PS: sorry for the shakes (driving ? at 70mph, one hand on the steering, other holding the cell phone)

I had an issue recently where a guage and several indicators on the dash stopped working. I attributed this to water leaking down the PS A-pillar and onto the floor. I assumed some ECU got wet. I let it dry out and everything has been working since.

I beleive it was the water temp gauge and most of the dash lights as well as the gear selection indicator that were affected.

Did water get inside the truck recently?

My tach occasionally does not work. Haven't found anything to attribute the problem to. Usually starts working again 4-5 startups later.

I always drive really slow through Bastrop. It's one of those towns that makes their revenue on speeding tickets.
