I have the omebp51 setup with the SPC UCA’s and have been greasing them every 3k miles as noted in the maintenance. What I wasn’t aware of however is that I wasn’t using the right grease. I have noticed the past few weeks a creaking in the front passenger side so brought it in to the shop, they let me know about the list of approved grease from SPC. Before I try and figure out if I’m under warrantee or whatever; if I were to clean out as much of the old grease as I can, then pump in the new correct grease, can I salvage the setup or am I going to need new UCA’s? Basically, when it starts creaking is that basically game over for these or can you fix it by using the correct grease?

I don't think that's your trouble spot that's creaking - I have the same UCA's and the creaking I have is from the rubber bushings not the ball joint. I called SPC a few months ago and I apparently have an older version of UCA that has since been updated. I need to pull the long connecting bolt all the way out and grease the bolt/bushings/washers and reinstall. I'm wondering if my install shop just used a generic grease instead of what SPC recommends.
You need a grease with a 3 to 5% Moly compound - here's a list from their website: https://www.spcalignment.com/subjectFAQ/SPC Approved Grease.pdf

Hope this helps

How old is your setup? Thinking if we have similar age in our UCA’s I may have the old batch too.

I think I bought my UCA's in May of 21, that's roughly when I installed my lift - If you call SPC they will ask for a picture of the control arms, they can immediately tell if they're the previous model or the revised.
