spark plug noise

wondering if noise the plugs make while holding wire to them can mean anything?
5 sounded like a sucking sound, other one sounded like a hard knocking or clicking.
useless info or not? its running like crap also and didnt run any differently with plug wires off. know i have more searching to do to find the problem, just curious.

I'm a little confused by your post, but if it doesn't change the running condition of your motor to pull a plug wire, I'd bet your wires are fried. Have you changed them?

havent changed the wires yet, theyre oem, if theyre original im sure theyre fried. need to change them anyways.

was wondering if the noise the plugs make (holding the wire close) allows you to tell anything about a problem? sucking versus clicking/knocking or if its just noise.

i changed the carb accelerator boot last week and had better performance for a day (wasnt accelerating well, sputtering out) since i changed the boot it has been going downhill, almost dying. yesterday was blowing lots of black smoke.
