Southern Utah Wheeling...near Zion???

My Friends,
I'm off to Gooseberry Mesa (near Zion) for 4 days of Mtn. Biking. I'm curious if there is any offroading in that area. Please advise if you have any suggestions. I'll be there the first week of May (same as Cruise Moab...I know should just go to Moab).

What type of wheeling are you looking for ? Mild... Moderate... anything with a good view ?

mild to moderate...we will have 2 rigs. New 4 runner pretty much stock and my 80 which is modfied and used to scratches and dents.

We will be driving through Vegas so if there is anything between Vegas and Zion I would make a side trip.

I`ll make a (short) list of a some nice moderate trails near Zion and get back 2 ya.

If you do plan on going through Vegas and want to take a side-trip nearby, I would suggest a run or two in the Logandale Trail system

The scenery is exceptional and there are also basic services available nearby
