Just checking if anyone in Southern CA might happen to have a spare injection pump diaphragm laying around. I ordered a new Denso unit from 4WheelAuto but it won't be in until mid next week (Wed the 13th of November to a friend's house in San Diego). I'm hoping to be in Baja by then. I can replace your spare with the new one from 4Wheel Auto.

My wife and I are traveling on our BJ45 Troopy from Maine to Baja, CA. The idle has been a bit high while at elevation in Colorado, Utah and AZ. I don't know if it's just the 7k+ ft elevations causing the high idle or if it's a sign the diaphragm has a small hole in it.

If you have one message me here or txt me at: too oh seven six won nien three ate one zero.

You will probably get a better response if you allow people to message you in your profile ...

What part number are you after ? I have a few injector pumps sitting around if you get stuck and really don't want to wait I can pull one out for you to get you going.

I'm not stuck. Just was looking for a spare in case I need to swap a diaphragm when in Baja. The idle has dropped back to the normal 700-725 range now that I'm back at sea level in La Jolla.

Edited to add: I didn't realize my privacy settings were preventing members from starting conversations with me. I have updated the setting so members can message me here.

That's good info. I know you deal with a greater range of elevation in B.C. than we get in Maine.

We're off to Baja in the morning. Wave if you see us.
