I've got word over the last few days that I will be heading back to the Ice in mid-August... (Not 100% yet, but pretty close) This is a few months earlier than I was planning on, so time has instantly been crunched... I will have to be prioritizing my time a little better. But that really just means I will be skipping work to go have fun while I can! :D I'll be looking forward to 6 months of 60 hour weeks, so I better play while I have the chance!

I'm very grateful to have the chance to return. With the contract change to Lockheed Martin, there have been a lot of cuts in the budget... My department is looking at going from 27 last year down to 11 personnel.... Hopefully a compromise will be made, but it will still be a tough season.

I'm going to try and hang out with you guys as much as I can after I get the family obligations taken care of. Thank you all for making this club a pleasure to run, and for all being such great people!

You talking to me? :hhmm:

:D That's awesome you get to go back down! I guess you will have to pack it all in for the next month or so!!!

COngrats!!

Now where is that Jerod-Do list ;) :flipoff2:

Doesn't bode well for the 'fall' Mining Claim Run.:crybaby:
Glad you have future employment though.

Sweet, congratulations! Can I have GB? Do we need to re-elect miley, the 3 lb great dane/border collie, for interim president again?

Wow, from 27 down to 11 and you're on the team? Way to make the cut Jerod! You must have made an impression on someone- or did you fix a couple Toyotas down there or make promises for the future?? :hhmm: Anyhow, when people ask me how my job is I always tell them I'm glad to have one! You too.

PS, fix my tie rod before you go. I bought a puller and a ball joint fork thingy and I can hold the light.
