I've been looking for auto dismantlers and was wondering if anyone had any advice or recommendations. I've scoured craigslist to about as far as i'm willing to drive and i'm not really finding anything. Are there any Toyota specific salvage yards?

I lave a 98 LX with the AHC bars and I don't want to go the OME route yet since I don't plan on putting on weight on the truck to smooth the ride. It's the wife's daily drive and a weekend fun truck, so smooth is the way to go.

I a parting out 2 100s currently so I have them, but they would need to be shipped. email if interested.

Craigs List and be patient
Spector Offroad
Toyota's Only, in North Hollywood

Thanks. The Toyota's Only was what I was looking for. They don't have it in stock atm.
I have one possible lead on Craigslist now.
Spector wants $250 each, used! yikes!

Are you wanting used NON AHC bars are just less mileage used AHC tbars? I have a pair of used AHC bars with about 70k on them that came out of an 07. I was told they were from a non AHC 100 so I bought them for my 03. After referencing part numbers and diameter dimensions I realized they were identical to my current tbars which had about the same mileage so they serve me no purpose. I'm up near Big Bear but am in Ontario and Chino Hills regularly. They are all yours if you want them. Shipping them is going to be stupid expensive so your best option is to find a time you can head out to Ontario and I can leave them at a family members place. IF you want non AHC bars then I can't help you.

Yeah, you could easily buy two new, shipped for about $325, than $500 used. Try TLC in Van Nuys, although they are more into restorations/Icon's.
yeah, those prices are crazy. I'm trying to get some OEM bars. I'm not sold on putting in the OME bars because of the increased stiffness (its the wife's daily driver).

I appreciate the offer, but I am looking for the LC non-AHC bars. Thanks though.

I have a set of OEM t-bars if you want em. Located in the bay area. Won't ship em, but Ill trade for some good beers

I've got a set but I'm in Hawaii so they would need to be shipped. Also have the coils and shocks. Don't know what it would be ship them. I paid $70 to have the OME shipped here.

Thank you both! Shipping will be my last resort as its expensive (especially from Hawaii!).

Man. I just saw this thread. I tossed my old torsion bars about a year ago because I was moving and didn't feel like holding on to them. Could have brought them right to you.

I have OME torsions if you wanted to take the wife for a drive in our truck to test it out. But I do have Icon shocks in all four corners. Compared to OME suspension however, it might give you a better idea of what it feels like with stock suspension + OME torsions.

You can also watch car-part.com to find local junkyards with OEM torsions.

Thanks for the offer, but I'm trying to stick to used oem to save money to use on replacing control arms and other bushings, ball joints, etc. With 238k on the clock, it's a little mushy in the handling department. The wife just this morning said she loves the truck, even more than her old 96 4Runner 4WD. Which is saying a LOT!
