Both the front and rear heater radiators have two short aluminum pipes clamped to them. These pipes have a gasket for sealing the joint. They could be an O-ring, but possibly after 30-years, mine have become triangular in cross-section. In any case, is there a part number or source for these? I cannot find any reference for them.

While I am asking, the two pipes in my rear heater radiator are completely shot. I also cannot find any reference for those, so has anyone fabricated new ones or found a source for them?

Most of us bypass the rear heat. Brings you down to like 4 hoses instead of 10

I can see that bypassing the rear unit will make life easier. But even the main front heat radiator has two o-rings where the pipes enter that I can't find. Probably they are not anything special and any o-ring of that size will work.

Do you mean engine bay at the firewall? Or the heater core?

Below are the two main aluminum heater core pipes with the o-rings. I would like to replace those o-rings as well as clean up the pipes removing the scale that you can see.

Got it. Dealer part maybe. might need the whole pipe. Dealer parts are weird sometimes forcing you to by whole assemblies. You can always call. I would think it would be something you can substitute by going to Napa. I used hydraulic bits for some of my coolant pipes that were corroded away.

Yeah, I have tried the dealer, and the pipes only come with the entire assembly, which of course is NLA from Toyota. You can buy aftermarket core units themselves, but surprise, surprise, they come without the two pipes, and they cannot, or will not, supply those. This same thing applies to both the front and rear heater cores.
