SOR 2 Piece Header DISASTER

well, I'm kinda in a holding pattern.

I had basically decided to 'make it work'. and deal with not having access to my upper shackle pin...

Then after some deliberation, and some further research on the SOR 2-piece header, I'm now on the fence about buying the MAF 6-1 header. I think it will resolve my clearance issue, and the MAF 6-1 give you better low end torque (from what people say). I put one on the 60, and really like it. AND they've improved the design, so the area that mates to the motor is now 2 pieces for better sealing. I should have stuck to what I know...

SO, I'm gonna call SOR on monday and see what they say...then go from there.

OK, I just spoke to Man-A-Fre, and they assured me their 6-1 header DOES NOT interfere with a shackle reversal. SO, I decided instead of mickey-mousing around with making the SOR header fit, and possibly loosing access to my upper shackle pin, to just order the 6-1 from MAF. I also ordered the Fluid heat riser kit for those cold starting days.



Now hopefully SOR will take their header back! We'll see...if not, I may have an SOR 2 piece header for sale.
