Thinking of (finally) replacing the original Toyota head unit with a Sony XAV-AX5000 into my 2006 100 series LC, and am wondering if anyone has already installed one?

In particular interested in whether the unit is a perfect fit, or whether I will need to do a bit of filing around the corners of the fascia to make it fit - I would prefer if I didn't have to. I've attached a photo of the current radio/dash that I have.

I was initially thinking of the Sony XAV-AX100 (which fits perfectly), however this has been updated in Aust and the only remaining stock (along with its updated AX200) I can find is now more expensive than the better spec'd AX5000.

Many thanks

Crutchfield.com lists the ax5000 as a double din, so if the ax100 would fit this should also have no issues

Thanks knewstance.
The photos of the 5000 look like the corners are a bit more squared off than the 100, however there are no floor stock near me to confirm this. Hopefully it's just the photos.

And no brownfox, I'm located in Australia 😊
