I sold my LC 3 years ago and it's time to get another one. I'm in NC and have found one in Manassas, VA. Is there anyone in that area that could take a look for me before I fly up? It would be much appreciated.

Is there a link to it? I found my LC about a month ago and have been all over MD, VA and PA in search of one. I can let you know If it's one I have already looked it if it's been for sale a while.

Yep... That one has been on the market a while, price has fluctuated a bit from just below 15,000 to where it is now.
There is a whine coming from the transmission transfer case area.
Tires are a little worn in the rear and do not match the fronts.
If I remember correctly shocks are rusted, on the bottom of the upper part of the housing on the left side.
There is also a bit of rust underneath the vehicle.
Passenger side wood where the lock and window control is, is busted as well.
Personally I'd pass it up unless your ok with sinking some money in to fixing up some of the flaws.
My GF called it a POS when I asked her if she remembered looking at that vehicle.
To each their own though, but I'd personally pass it up.

None that come to mind, you can check Craigslist in the Washington DC area, and do a search for "Landcruiser" and
"land cruiser" make sure you put a space between land and cruiser. I know there are quite a few posted on there. There's two or three in Fredericksburg VA that do not pop up on autotrader.

I have been doing that here in NC but I guess I should check VA craigslist as well. Have you looked at this one?:

No haven't seen that one, Fredericksburg, VA is about 2 to 4 hour drive from me. There's a shop in Fredericksburg called IronPig, I think they deal with LCs. I know nothing about those guys but it may be worth a call or email to see of they could be some assistance.
