I've seen lots of cars in the Princeton area on supposed 4x4 only trails - including my little diesel VW Rabbit. You'd be amazed how good that little car was in the bush. It had those big old fashoined nobby snow tires that use to just eat up the dirt and mud.

That's all we used to do in our early teenage years, buy a $50 car every other weekend and go beat the snot out of it on the powerlines that run through Powell River. Those old Honda Civics and Datsun 510's are extremely durable.
