Hello friends and members of 406 Cruisers!
I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving day. I was fortunate enough to spend the evening with friends, eating a delicious feast and pondering how great we have it out here in Montana. How awesome is it that we get to play with the greatest trucks, in one of the most beautiful places in the lower 48 with the best (only) Toyota club in the state!
But it's not the trucks, or the trail rides, or even the sand dunes that make this club what it is...it's the members. In the year and half that we've been going, we've seen club members do trail clean up work, members helping other members out with projects, and loaning tools to each other. I know that I have formed many new friendships that would not have happened if not for the club.
This holiday season, 406 Cruisers is proudly supporting the Toys For Tots program. This is a program that gets toys into the hands of kids who are less fortunate than us. Please get involved! You can purchase a toy for a boy or girl, of any age, and we will donate all of them, as a club, to one of the donation centers. Toys For Tots requests that toys be unwrapped, not a recalled item, and not a food item. Also, avoid gifts that look like a realistic weapon. If the toys require batteries, please provide them as well. The Toys For Tots website has some great ideas of gifts that you can get.
You can bring the toys to our December meeting, mail them directly to me if you live far away, or drop them to Pure Water Technologies in Four Corners, Monday - Friday between 8 & 4:30.
