Classic Landcruiser w/222,222 fantastic miles!
Good:
-Rebuilt 2F engine by Jim Chenoweth (check references at ih8mud.com) the best Landcruiser mechanic in the country
-Engine rebuilt with mild RV cam, desmogged with chrome header and stainless steel exhaust. New power steering pump and front drag links
-New brakes rebuilt with all new parts front and back
-Very solid frame that was cleaned and undercoated yearly
-Solid floor pans, no rust (checked last year when installing new carpet)
- ARB Bull Bar front bumper with Superwinch 9000lb winch
-Last year fitted with Old Man Emu 2.5” lift springs and shocks. Aftermarket Pioneer radio/cd with amp and nice speaker system
-New carpet and seat covers last year. Driver’s seat has small 3” tear on corner. Tuffy locking center console
-33.10.5 BFG on Steel Rims (30% wear left)
-Good glass all the way around and front window cranks replaced last year
-2” receiver hitch new in 08’
-Very solid body, needs very little
Bad:
-Was headed to body shop next week, but I am moving now and have to sell, little surface rust here and there just needs cleaned up
-New fender flares not install to my satisfaction and was going to have them removed
-Paint is ok, but was having it repainted to original white. Some peeling to primer around gas door
-Few rust bubbles at bottom of lift gate and some rust bottom of passenger door
-Needs new heater fan, have it just no time to fix
-Power steering box leaking a little
-Having trouble with rear gate lock and missing interior access cover (can find one easily if you want but cannot guarantee color)
-Needs nerf bars removed or welded on (have rock sliders available)
-Cracked dash-have new vinyl dash cover (won’t install but comes with car)
-Someone stole the box out of my car with the wiring harness to the fog lamps but have a new one coming and will be here this week, also had new solenoid for winch, but can get for about $70
-Driver’s side emblem on back quarter (Landcruiser) and turn light on front fender removed by friendly tree branch, no damage to metal. Have access to new ones if you can’t get them yourself
Extra parts:
-ARB rear bumper with swing out tire carrier $550 ($1150 new)
-Slee Rock Sliders $450 never used
-Brand new Mickey Thompson Torque Black Rims with BFG 33x10.5 AT $1200 (taking a bath)
-2.5 degree wedge for front leaf springs, helps articulation and comes with truck
-Older 5’ Safari rack needs sandblasting and paint, but no rust comes with truck or $50
Will deliver within 300 miles of Madison, WI
