I'm looking to do the Auto-Up window mod (super easy, done it before on the :princess: rig) and Raven-Tai's Coolent Temp mod (never done it).

Since the Auto-Up window mod resistors comes in packs of (at least) 2, anyone else interested in one?

As for RT's mod, I've never desoldered before (unless burning it off counts :hillbilly: ), and I'll probably order a couple anyway.

Anyone interested in either of these mods? (And yet another excuse to hang out, :wrench:, and drink .)

McGrew's what really prompted me to do these, especially the 2nd. It felt like I was running warm, but I had no way of verifying.

Just my $.02. Skip the temp mod and go straight to a scan guage. Actual temps and so much more.

BTW, I was running @ 184 all day until I turned on the air. Then I went to 198=208.

Ditto Fly Rod. ScanGuage is THE ONLY WAY TO GO on a 95 or newer. Don't even bother with the RavenTai mod, especially since it becomes super sensitive and you end up training your eyes on it and not the road as it moves all over the place.

Some of us are on a budget. If I get a Scan Gauge, there goes the budget for new tires or armor or lift or....

Steve: Can I keep that $.02?

Start saving some beer cans it's about $170 and way worth it. I know that's just about 1 tire too...

Yeah, we haven't had to buy tires for either rig yet. She's gonna freak when she see's the price for the all season radials on her's, let alone 35" MT's....

She can get your 31"s and you can upgrade to your 35"s it's a win all the way around!!

What size are your wheels? I may need to be in the market for 31's for my sammy. Rather go to the 33's that I've already got or 35's but may not be able to fit them.

265/75R16. They looked (to my untrained eye) virtually new when I bought 'em, and I haven't driven a whole heck of a lot since.

I'm actually suprised. I was browsing Tire Rack and 35's aren't much (if at all) more expensive than 30's.

I was eyeballing the Grabber AT 2 which got good reviews on Tire Rack. At $155 a tire, it's not horribly expensive.

Me too...well at least until August...
