I know I am going to get flamed for posting this here, but I'm hoping that someone here has a Jeep friend that would be interested in this. I bought it after I sold my 40 and was having wheelin withdrawls. I couldn't find another cruiser in my price range, so I bought this. It was originally a buick v6 with a three speed. There were only 100 Hurst Jeepster built. Basically they were white with a hood scoop and a hood tach. The scoop is missing but the tach is still in place. I know where to get a scoop for around $200. When I got it, it was repainted, a different engine was put in, and a different transmission. I didn't realize it was rare when I first got it.
Since I bought it I have done a TON of stuff to try and make it as tough as a cruiser. Here is a list of some the mods:
Dana 44s front and rear with 4.56 gears-0 miles since gear and bearing instal.
Ford 302- Rebuilt but unknown miles. It runs good with good oil pressure.
Ford AOD- Heavy duty clutch packs. It is suppose to handle 500 horsepower. I was a little skeptical about that but I have seen one in action with the same kit and it did great.
Dana 300 tcase-I haven't rebuilt it but it seems to be in great shape.
5 35-13.50-15 Toyo MTs-Very few miles and 0 miles on spare.
Swing away tire carrier.
YJ springs up front-I have some specially made springs from deaver that I have not installed yet.
Power steering-Not installed yet.
Larger fuel tank than stock.
Spring over suspension.
Diff guards front and rear.
Heavy duty transmission cooler.
GM single wire alt.
Electric fan setup with temp relay to turn the fan on automatically.
I have a ton of extra spare parts. This still needs shocks and the front suspension finished. It also needs a front driveshaft. I have stripped most of the paint on the driver's side to see what kind of condition the body was in. It is in very good shape with minimal rust. The rust is confined to the front of the floorpans. Nothing major at all and is an easy fix. New floor pans are $65. Very cheap. I have a ton of money wrapped up in this thing and I have to sell it fast because I am getting married in a couple of weeks and I need to get money to finish my 4runner. I was trying to get $3500 for it but now I will take $3000. I will also throw in a set of brand new bushwacker fender flares ($400).
I can email pictures to anyone that is interested. I can also be reached at 208-227-6624. This is located in Rexburg Idaho.

Thanks I will post it over there.

Bump for a nice ride.

If anyone is looking for a nice rig, the Jeepster is a good rig for a high schooler, student, or wheeler. I had a buddy with one and it was a sweet rig. They are much nicer than CJ's

bump for you and from a once jeep guy, could you send me pics and I will post them for you on a jeep board that I still visit. Maybe someone will be interested.
