I removed the original ball and claw axle from my 65 FJ45 with just over 60k miles. Hubs were removed for another mud member. All drum brakes are there with newer NOS OEM wheel cylinders (5 years ago?) and newer shoes some gear oil on the shoes but not bad.
Spare for a purist?
