I have done lots of reading and am in the process of working out the details for my SOA for my fj60. Is anyone using the All Pro Offroad system and does it work well? Also saw 4x4labs system, but it is more $. What is the difference?

call W up you can get arms for 75 bucks that work just as well

The difference is that the labs job puts your tie rod in the trunk of your rig!

Not really but it places it way back there. I dont quite know why though. The All Pro set up is high steer and places the tie rod above the axle. Here is a pic of my high steer set up.

They both (as I understand) have correct akerman angles.

Well, that is my intention. I was unemployed for eight months. I have to get some damn money saved up first to be able to finish it.

Isn't that funny...when you have the time you don't have the money, when you have the money, you don't have the time.

My FJ 60 has been down way too long now. I'm hoping I can get it going soon.....

I've been using All Pro's Hysteer arms/tie rods on my SOA FJ60 for about 4-5 years. Lot of rocks, no problem, love 'em.

Today there are many more choices for good hysteer arms. If I was doing it today I'd probably call Luke at 4x4labs. They are the da bomb.

I dont know, I just dont see a need to have your tie rod that far back there.

I went with the 4x4 labs arms to get the tie rod out of the way of the drag link. I also think that having the tie rod behind the axle and out of harms way is a great idea. I have wheeling partners that have the OTT arms and the All Pro arms and they both have rubbing issues with tie rod to drag link.

I am going to have rubbing issues with my oil pan and plan on flipping my springs to solve the problem. My bud with his FJ40/45 has no issues with SOA SR and sagina steering box
