SOA spring perch length??

Starting to build some perches for my SOA, and i'm sure there has been some experimentation with lenghts. What says the SOA crew?? What length has worked best for you so far?

i dont remember what brand i bought,but i ended up beefing them up,prolly about 8"

Use the Dodge spring perches (typically ~ $11.00) and make a traction bar..

I too used dodge ones for a D60 I think. Like 4 inches worked fine.
