Im going to be heading to Alta Loma or Rancho Cucamonga, or whatever they call that place now in about a week for about a month to decide if I like it and a job offer I have waiting for me.

Is this the Club I get to harass everyone in instead of Copper State Cruisers if I stay in CA?

Absolutely! We'll even sell you a sticker!

SWEET
Let me know when you get in .. I'm right down the street from you.

yah , I'm in for the calico run too.

That would be us. Not sure if we want another pink panty but......

We could always use more Lexae around here! I'm getting tired of looking at these plain jane white Land Cruisers all the time.:flipoff2: They think they're soooo cool with their dirt- and scratch-hiding ability and their potential for lower operating temperatures. Big deal! It's a known fact that chromed wheels make your rig go faster and wheel better! Even more so than teflon!

Besides, everyone knows that chicks dig body molding!!!

Now, where's Smitty with the grey poupon?

Oh, and welcome to So Cal, Cody.:flipoff2:

Would love to add another Lex to the group! Hell this weekend we had more Lex. than LC. By adding another Champagne one, that color might become the new white! Oh and btw someone had a request........

ROTFLMAO  ! I don't know about the Chorme wheel thing, Teflon has reports done by Dupont to document the fact that air slides over it even better than chrome. And I can cook eggs on mine if I ever get stranded in the desert. You may starve but at least your hair will be in place and your grooming impecable thanks to chrome. :D :flipoff2:

 :grinpimp: :flipoff2: Only Smitty would have a picture of that ready and waiting. You are classic.

Meh, I could stand to skip a meal or two, and at least I'd leave a beautiful corpse. Besides, have you felt how hot my dark emerald metallic hood gets? It's a fry cook's wet dream!

mmm...body molding.

Look even better with the pinstriping. Well done!

Welcome! :flipoff2:

I'm from Alta Loma, and my parents still live there, but I've moved to the San Fernando Valley. If you need any info on the town or its surroundings, let me know.

Are there random places I can go crazy and splatter my shiny truck with mud near Alta Loma?

I love the people who tailgate me after I get out from a giant mudpit and back on the road. The shocked looks on their faces in their blingy sedans as their car is immediately pelted with hundreds of mudballs...it makes the 12mpg all worthwhile.

I live five minutes away.Hit me up when you get here and I can show you around.

Azusa is nearby, and is basically a huge mud pit. If nothing else, it's always fun go there and watch the show. There's usually someone who gets stuck bad, and needs the assistance of the local 6x6 ex-military vehicle (deuce-and-a-half, I think) for hire.

As for muddin', like was mentioned above, there's Azusa, but there are also dozens of great 4WD trails in the San Bernardino Mtns. just north of town. There are gates now, which limit the entry from sunup to sundown, but when I was younger, we did a ton of backwoods exploring; four wheeling, trail skiing, mountain biking, and hiking up there. Besides the latest addition of a neighborhood in the foothills at the northernmost end of Sapphire St., they have remained virtually unchanged. Plus, Cucamonga and Ontario Peaks provide a nice, scenic view anywhere in the range.

Be prepared, though, and don't underestimate the terrain, as trails can get heavy back there, and weather can change quickly. Treat it like you'd treat a trail in Colorado or Utah, as the terrain is very similar--rocky, alpine, tree-lined slopes of loose scree and boulders.
