the valley, yeah that one
any interest in doing some local easy to moderate trails this Saturday? My wife wants a last minute run before her due date of monday, so hardcore stuff is out for us this time, but any easy/moderate stuff is open.

It'd be nice to have a group if anyone is up for it.

maybe Willow Creek or Big Pine Flats or???? possibly some parts of Rowher Flats???

PM me or post up here if anyone is interested.

Sunday could work too if there's enough interest, but Saturday would probably be better.

cheers.

this is a landcruiser board right? you people like off-roading right? do I smell funny?

anyone? Bueller?

If I can get smogged & tags this afternoon, and talk the :princess: into it, I'm in.

I'll let you know later this evening.

P.S. What isthat smell?

cool, good luck with the smog check.

Sorry man,
Gonna have to back out.

Next time

you might get more hits over in the SoCal board...

Bogus- no worries, good luck with the smog anyways.

Ammo- thought about that earlier today, decided since it's so informal and only some mellow to moderate trails (keeping more on the mellow side for the wife) it would be "more betta" here.

cheers.

Rowher flats it is...

don't know if anyone else will be along, but I'll be in the metallic brown 60 with black stock wheels, Kaymar rear, and dark tint.

planning to arrive between 9:00 and 10:00

cheers.

trip was fun, nothing exciting, so no pics....

next time will be something with a bigger pucker factor, so I'll post when there's another one planned.

cheers.

Good for you!
And next time, if you're gonna be in that area, you might consider going to Hungry Valley and around there, some more interesting stuff, and in the SVRA you can choose how much you want to test your skills in the beginning.

yeah, we used to ride the bikes there a lot too, fun area for sure.

cheers.

If I lived closer, I would have come hit it up with ya!
Most Ive done in So cal has been Death Valley!
Id like to check it out down there!

next time you're in the area, we'll get out and see if I can get over the same stuff as your locked SOA :D :D :D

SAHWEET!!!Ill race your V8 with my SUPER FLY 3FE too!!!!I gotta tell you, the extra articulation of the SOA, and the locker made a MARKED difference in wheeling performance! All it has to do know is hold together, as my ROOKIE ASS did the work!If you head out the DV way to go wheeling, post it up, I might be apt to swing down...never know!Chicago

yeah, we like "the DV", and have done some trips there in the winter- great times for sure.

cheers.

Hey guys,
We do DV every year for the week of Thanksgiving. It's the perfect time, not too crowded, perfect weather (usually).

Interested?

possibly. I should get that week off from the show I'll be working. If the wife and baby are up to it, so am I.

We usually have the family stuff going on...
We host Thanksgiving at our place usually, soooo...
I prolly wouldnt be able to swing that!

I go once a year too, and its not often enough for me!

The drive down and back is BRUTAL with the 3FE!!!
Ive gotta do that damn V8 swap! (Save it Philos....I know!!!:flipoff2:)
