So Cal Summer trip anyone?

Anyone interested in getting a group together for a weekend trip in the So Cal Mt. area's this summer ( July, August, or Sept) at either Big Bear or at Kennedy Meadows?

Anyone have any current info on KM trails?

I am in. If I bring the jeep I will put a bezel on it. My 80 is now leaking at the 3d member and shimmies in the rear and front. Maybe not highway worthy anymore. Maybe the pickup if I get it ready soon enaough. I need another 80 - any doantions?

Trails Update

I just spoke w/ the DOF:

KM is OPEN
Fish Creek is OPEN
Monanche Meadows is CLOSED
Blackrock Ranger Station is CLOSED -- Will open 5/24

No update on OHV trails -- Ranger has not made it back yet, today. Should be opening soon.

Blackrock Stations # is 760- 376-1666. They are open 8:00 - 4:30, M-F. (after the 24th)

You can call this # now and "press 1", that will get you to the nearest station that is open, and they can update.
