Okay now that I can move my muscles
normally after all that snow shoveling... I just wanted to say how absolutely fine this group was to work with on the run. Being a new-bee I wasn't sure if I was getting in with some die hard rock-jocks or gear-heads and would feel out of place. Just want to say thanks for your patience and the great support for us new members.
I like your attitude of letting the new guy get his chops down on his own. I felt bad holding up everyone (seems like every five feet my car just slowly sank in place!). But it meant a lot. I must also add that I was quite amazed at the driving abilities of those in the group! I tend to learn faster by doing and as I watched you guys work your way out of what appeared to be impossible angles and depths of snow I just copied what you were doing and managed to get myself out of the way! Couldn't have done it without your help and expertise.
Now
I know I got to get my "shaved ice machine" lifted! I need a tow strap and bumper hook .... learned how to correctly hook up snow chains ....anyway I
learned a lot on this first run.....and to anyone thinking about joining this club you couldn't find a better bunch!
Thanks to all that I pestered with endless questions about gear, techniques etc.. and before I forget it...it was just great seeing the old technology pulling the new tech boys out of the snow!
My
Adventure Hat was given the" luck touch" by Bill's wife and see...I got off that trail! Backwards!

The pictures say it best! What a blast!
Hope to make the next one!
