Anyone have one?

I picked up a "used" Amazon ARB knockoff (Chinese) snorkel (guy thought it might fit a 4 Runner) for $50 but it doesn't have the template or the hardware, so I'll be sourcing the new hardware. Which I've heard most people do anyway...

I didn't have one either. I made mine using some of the kids construction paper. When you get ready to do it I have a good hole saw you can use. I bought it to do my snorkel and that's all it was ever used for.

So you just traced the snorkel itself, laid it out on the quarter panel and A pillar, and then made your holes? I think I'll take you up on your hole saw offer!

@DeeRex installed a snorkel recently. I don't know if he used a template or not. @DeeRex did your snorkel come with a template?

Yes, Derek's had a template. I've got the correct hole saw as well (used it on Derek's truck) but don't have the template.

I sorta used the template. The template that came with the snorkel is BAD. I used one hole on the template and matched it to the snorkel. I then made all new holes on the template for the other holes. Did you get the A-pillar brace with the snorkel? You will need stainless rivets and new stainless bolts. The bolts provided rust pretty quickly.

While my template was correct, the reports show that very few actually are.
You may want to consider brishing a dab of nail polish on each mount and then use that to make your own template. Would give you exact location of the bolt holes to use.
I read many people doing similar in order to account for bad templates.
