Anyone interested in installing a snorkel for me? Just not comfortable drilling into the fender. Willing to pay for the install and time taken.

Message me if interested.

Thanks!

Holy smokes, I thought you would know i'm joking. I mean I guess I could drill the hole for you, we would need a template, and I could use the practice for my snorkel install. Also need a 3.5 or 4.0'' hole saw. I have heard people say the 4'' is better because it gives you a bit of wiggle room. Let me know if you want to pursue this more, we could probably do them at the same time. Also, i have heard a nutsert gun is the way to go for the A pillar but I don't have one. Maybe someone in the club has one we can use.

I have nutsert. Metric and standard. Not wanting it to leave garage right now tho. Using it off and on but u all can come to me. Just dont drill the hole b4 cause they take a particular size bit. In blue springs.

I received one of these snorkels via UPS yesterday.

Question is:

Am I better off going the nutsert route for the piece that attaches up top, or are the rivets ok?

I have a rivet gun thingy at work so I could do it this weekend. If the nutsert is a better option, I can wait.

It works and It is still holding. The only thing is using rivets will dent the metal a little bit but shouldn't be noticeable.

Use the rivnut gun, if you don't have one you can borrow mine.
