Anyone running an ARB snorkel on their TBI V8 40 ? Just wondering how or what your adapter looks like or what you did.
Thanks,

Mike

i don't have a snorkel yet and i run a TPI set up but i was going to use the ducting these guys make. Spectre Performance - Official Site

i am already using some of it for the ducting on my TPI from throttle body to the air cleaner housing. search there site they have lots of stuff and some auto parts places like shucks stock it.

I have the same set up. I found an air cleaner assembly from a 1990-ish TBI GMC truck, got some hose from a local hose/tubing supplier and a 4" to 3" dryer hose reducer from Home Depot. I had to fab a riser for the air cleaner, but they can be bought also. This is the only pic I have of it. All connections sealed either with rubber gaskets or RTV. HTH.

Reviving an old thread. I am also looking for ideas for air cleaner / snorkel set-ups for SBC's with a carb. Post up some more pics and details.

Bang Bang, my current ideas for my fj40 with snorkel set-up i got a carb hat to adapt to my edelbrock and a fj40 bolt on kit, still in process but thats how i'm doing it. i just goggled for jeep set-ups etc. saw a lot of pics that way. if any of this helps u with yours. i don't have a small block chevy but bbf

I don' have a snorkle but like TLCSKULLS posted, an air cleaner from an 80's-90's TBI Chevy truck might make a good inexpensive carb to snorkle adapter for you.
