Hard to tell if the template was spot on or not. I taped it on, and just went for it. I stepped up the drill bit size a tad and had to make a few of the holes a tiny bit larger. No major problems.
One thing I did have to do was grind down the ridges on the air filter assembly so that the rubber tube would slide on it better.

Thanks for the update, I did amazon too and was hoping the template wouldn't be effed like some others had said, how close did you come to the antenna?

It sits right next to/on the edge of it. You don't have to do anything to it.
I see that the ebay seller has them for $60 plus $30 to ship and the pics are the same of the one I got on Amazon for $109
What dis everyone who installed one of these do for a template? Did you use the one it came with and adjust to fit?

Mine came with a template but I have yet to install it as I need to paint the rig first and deal with a broken antenna mast.
Yeah mine did as well. I just know they are not the greatest templates to work off of.

We taped the paper outline on ours on the way it is discussed. We then applied some red touch up paint on the stud ends on the snorkel. Then we positioned the snorkel to the paper to see how close the marked holes were. As I remember the back ones were off as much as 1/2". One change we also did was to drill new holes in the windshield frame bracket to position the holes in the center of the frame. Applied POR 15 to all the holes and finished the install.

The two holes towards the rear of the truck were about 1/4" too far forward.

Just clicked on that Amazon link above and the price is $57.99 + $29.99 for shipping.
Just ordered one yesterday for 87.95 shipped from the ebay seller.
I think the ebay seller is the same as the amazon seller but I'm not sure, both have the same photos.
