Before I state my issue: Ive done some research and all I could find was info on disconnecting the front swaybar.
Last weekend I took the girl out and did a very mild run on gravel roads and one (1) crossing of what looks like a shallow ravine for water to run. Nothing extraordinary or anything that I would have considered "hard", chances are a regular car can cross it. Nevertheless - I was careful- and I crossed it at very low speed (5mph tops). I did crisscross it so the passenger front tire went thru first then driver front, passenger rear and finally driver rear.
Well, I managed to snap a bracket that holds what looks to me (im not a mechanic) like a rod that attaches the frame to the rear sway bar. Went to Toyota and bought a new one ($28 only thank God!) but they were shocked to see the snapped part and claimed to have never seen that before.
My question, should I disconnect the swaybars from now on when I encounter any flexing? Seems unreasonable given the fact that this was a minimal crossing. My 80s woud have ate that as a baby snack. But if so, is there a kit I can buy for quick disconnect?
She is a 100 with OME 2.5. springs, OME spacers (1 inch I think) and Iron Man struts.

Heres some pics of the part that broke and the location on the 100. Any help appreciated, I dont want to have this happen again, even though it was a cheap part. Plus the dealer said there were only 3 of these in stock in the county (yikes).

Cheers

Keep the sway bar connected. I'm surprised to see it break there. Fortunately this is a very cheap and easy fix.

Thanks guys, I spend too much time on freeways to leave the sway bar disconnected. Ill give Ryan a call, I checked the website but coudnt find the part.

From the pics in the first post it looks like the bolt on the inside has fallen out, leaving all the load to the outside bolt, and in a bad angle as well.
