Pre heat oven to 350 degrees.
3 cups organic whole rolled oats processed until the look like a course flour.
3 ripe organic bananas
1/2 cup organic figs soaked in 1/2 cup water.
Add the bananas and figs (reserving the water) and process until you have a stiff dough, add the reserved water as needed.
spread mixture in the bottom of a baking dish about 3/8" thick
Bake for about 20 minutes or until firm.
Turn out on a cutting board and cut into bars while still hot.
You could add pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, nuts, molasses, protein powder whatever.
I could have a couple of these and a cup of tea for breakfast and be fine for most of the day on the trail. Or just gnosh on a couple while on the trail for lunch. Way tastier than the high sugar chemical filled bars they sell in stores.
