SMORR 2012 Food Planning Thread

OK, for the BBQ dinner Saturday night, all of the meat will be provided by Ed. As usual, the sides and desserts will be brought by club members, pot luck style. In order to make sure we get a good mix of food and not a bunch of the same stuff, please post up what you plan on bringing.

I will keep this first post of the thread updated with a running list to make it all easy to find in one spot.

Just so everyone knows for quantity planning we have 29 rigs registered. That is 52 meals purchased and 14 kids of various ages. WE do usually get some late registarations and people who show up without registering. See you all soon.

As of this morning we have 33 rigs registered with 63 meals purchased. There are 3 more kids. I believe some have purchased meals for their kids so wouldn't bump the count too much.

I just finished canning 36 jars of salsa for each registered driver. We will be bringing a batch & chips for the dinner.

Hamburger buns would be perfect. Assuming they are in 8 packs, 10-12 packs should do. The club will reimburse you.
