Smart Phone Holders

Hey Everyone - I have an 03 LX. I was watching an episode of Motorweek and Pat Goss did a segment on smart phone holders. The reason this was different is the holders were not the suction cup type that go onto the windshield or ones that go in the cig lighter, but rather were more customized where these connect to the dummy holes on the dashboard. For instance, you know how sometimes if you don't have a specific option on a car, that on/off switch will just be covered in a plastic cover so there's no hole. This holder will connect to hole where the plastic cover is. For instance, right under the tune button of the ML radio, I have a dummy retangular plastic cover to match the other buttons for the rear fan, heated mirrors, etc.

In the motorweek segment, Pat Goss didn't mention any of the companies that produce the holders, he just showed the various designs. I was wondering if any of you guys had gotten any of these type of holders and perhaps you could provide the link or the vendor.

I just have a Waloo magnet holder that hooks to the vent. Does just fine for me and I don't have to fool with clipping it in anything.

For '03+ they're the shiz. The earlier 100's dash just doesn't have the same options, and I use a suction cup on top of the dash. The pro clip options for '98-'02 are all too low, requiring significant diversion from the road (as would any dash-blank system) and block the life-support vents and the nav/radio knob.

I coupled the ProClip mount with the otter box belt clip. It hooks right onto the ProClip and easily comes with me.
