I just figured out why my driving lights don't work. The wires are missing and the connector is jacked up. I don't know what happened to the rest of the wiring but now I know it's a bad idea to turn them on.

Since I'm going to end up with a front bumper / winch is there any need in worrying about these? I suppose that I should at least replace the connectors if I can find the wiring. Is there a good source for connectors?

I pulled the battery so I could replace the candles that were in the headlamp housings with PIA's. I think I know how to adjust them but I may be back. I made sure that I put the battery hold down bolt in a safe place so I wouldn't lose it. Then I hit it with something and I heard it disappear into the void. It's got an 8mm head but I don't know the thread pitch and length. Any ideas?

I thought that the windshield washer pump was bad. I pulled the tubing from the header and it's squirts a good 6' or more so the pump is good. The spray nozzles barely drip water. Replace? Clean? Repair?

Rear vent. One of the rear vents doesn't work. The window is closed so I'm not in a bind. Easy fix?

The window switches have worked every time but one. I rolled everything down and when I tried to roll them all back up the drivers side didn't come up. I stopped to get fuel and when I tried to roll the drivers side window up it worked. It hasn't given me any trouble since that happened but the owner mentioned that there might be a problem.

Just curious, I can back into it from RPM/Speed but I was wondering what the gear ratio is. 4:10's? At 75mph (legal speed in interstates in TX unless you're out west and there it's 80mph) it turns up a lot tighter than everything else I drive.

Don't know about the lights wiring.

Use a thin push pin or wire to clean out the washer fluid jets from the outside. Same with any vehicle.

Don't know about the window problems. Could be switches or fuses.

This truck just wasn't geared to cruise at 80 mph. It's a heavy, full time all wheel drive beast meant to plow thru mud and snow at low speed.

I agree, anything over 70 mph and my truck is working hard. Good thing mine is stuck in Dallas rush hour traffic most of the time!

Good Luck.

I guess I've been lucky. I've never had a washer sprayer plug much less both of them.

The windows work. I just had one incident where the drivers side didn't roll up until I shut the LC off and then restarted it (could be a coincidence). The owner mentioned a module that could be replaced. It's not much of a problem as long as it's not raining... or snowing... or cold... or hot :)

Nope, it wasn't. It does ok but the fuel mileage (which isn't what I bought it for) drops drastically. I'm a little concerned that it's short on power. Not for sea level, for altitude. My turbocharged diesel loves it at altitude. I think the TLC won't like it too much but we'll see. 33's will help a little but the stock tires are already pretty tall. Every time I search for TLC info I find out that this thing is a beast right out of the box. The engine has great longevity. I guess they sacrificed hp for longevity of the engine and drivetrain.
