Great transmission for the rocks, not so good for the road. I found the spacing to be a PITA around town....even with a v8 pushing it. The spacing btw second and third is far, so you have to rev up second to hit third. Also, no overdrive, so you'll need at least 33's to get good road speed. I'm going 5spd toyota, so I'll let you know the difference when I get it in. 1st in the SM was crazy low though....really miss that on my current truck, but it pissed everyone off on the trail behind me. They were running up my bumper whenever I got in it.
