Hey guys I am looking for some good sliders for my 89 fj62 nad have heard of 2badfjs making some sliders but was wondering if somebody has pictures of them on their rig. Or if there is something else out there.
Thanks
Adam

That post is a good one I dont know how I missed it but oh well. I dont think the 60 series will fit on a 62 because of the cat. Is that right or not? if they will fit I would be interested. Looking like 2bdafjs are the way to go they look nice.

I have a friend selling a really nice set from his '85 FJ60. I wonder if they would fit? PM me if interested and I'll pass it along.

If they wont fit, I am very interested in the sliders! And have paypal!

I have them on my 87 60...they're saaah-weeeet. And "2Badfjs" is one heck of nice guy to work with.

No other affiliation other than being a satisfied customer.

fj60 sliders will not fit an fj62 because the cats are in the way. i am getting some custom made at a local offroad shop. i was quoted $6-700 welded to the frame ready to go. sleeoffroad has sliders for the fj62 and they are really sweet but pricey. i believe $745. when you get sliders i really recommend getting a bar that sticks off the main slider to keep your body away from the rocks. I was out this weekend and my friend has sliders but doesnt have the bar that sticks out. as a result he has a dent right behind his door that would not be there if he had gotten the additional bar.

Yeah, I agree with that. I had mine made to tuck nicely under the rocker which is what I wanted at the time. Now I'm thinking I need a bit of an "outrigger" added to help avoid what tclndcrz mentions.

2badfjs, what do you think? Any ideas?

we can add that if you want, just gotta go to ianb's and bend some tube.

you can get pretty technical when offroading with an "outrigger" too. you can place the outrigger against the side of a rock and rotate around it if its a tight spot. its fun to think about.

2badfjs i think your step idea is pretty cool. very functional.

Heh, heh, heh...

THAT's the 2Badfj's I know...

how much are we talk'n about if the bar is included... shipping to CA - rough cost

add the tube and labor......calling on tube........on hold..............................................................................................................................still holding................................................................................................................must be busy..................i'd use 1 1/2 hrew for the side tubes...........still holding.......................
ok extra $125.

That is a great price! Will talk with the wifey and PM if you things look good.

Thanks!

I don't understand what tube you are talking about adding? This would mount on side come up alittle to protect the side? Anyone have some pictures?
