Hey just for other diesel guys out there fit a set of slee step sliders for the 95 to 97, do fit on 91 hdj81. Had one issue the exhaust bracket bolts to where the pass side (driver on this goes) slider bolts to the frame for car protection. Took the exhaust bracket and cut the bottom off and used the top two holes to mount on top of the slider. Slee provides longer bolts so this works, and then you can use the original Toyota style exhaust hanger. Can shoot some pics if anyone wants them later.
