nice! I own that Truck on the site. Looks awesome.

I know that bumper is nice but is it really worth that price?

Mine saved me probably twice that amount in rear end damage last year alone, but then I wheel in VT with lots of steep muddy hillsides and trees.

Josh, you own one of the trucks displaying the Slee rear bumper. I own the other one! ;) Josh's shows the updated bumper. It is totally up to the purchaser whether it is worth the money or not. Like billmc, my rear bumper has saved serious body damage both on and off the trail just like the front ARB has. My five year old rear Slee bumper looks and works just like it did when it was first installed. Some that have tried to replicate the bumper for less $$$ have gone by the wayside. Quality costs and the new version requires a little less maintenance.

I personally think its awesome. It is built so well. On my 40 Cirbo from the 40 section built me a carrier and in doing so we realized why bumpers cost what they do. Time and energy that go into making them that solid is far beyond what most would think.

Your talking about the tan one? If so what lift are you running? The truck's stance looks absolutely perfect.

Overhanger, your cruiser has the best original paint I've seen. Also a great looking truck.

Mercy! Thank you. Long story short, when I was shopping for a 62 in '99 this was the first one I looked at and thought it looked silly. Of the seven 62s I test drove, this was one was head and shoulders above the rest in everything but paint scheme. It has grown on me since then. Dealer paint, by the way.

I'm sold on the rear bumper, but what goes up front?

I think it's one of those paint jobs that will get better with time. It really keeps the truck looking like it's from that era. Kinda like flames on a deuce coupe or primer and pin-stripes on a Rat Rod, no matter what other mods you do to the vehicle the appropriate paint will keep it looking "correct".

IF its worth it or not is totally up to each driver. I looked for several years with no luck and end up (very satisfied) with the SROR rear bumper. These are not FJ with thousand of new customers a year and the potential for a company to make there money back on volume. Most of the time there is no bumper available for a 60 series. You have to time it right to get one. Almost no one makes one to sit in inventory. I love having rear swing away with tire and can holders and really think it set the truck apart not to mention the abuse it has taken. If you really want one you are luck to be able to find one inside a 6 month window and I can promise that with the price of steel that they wont be getting cheaper over the next several years.

I think the springs are 3.5" Alcans with a 1" body lift. It looks like the shackles in the back are about an inch over stock and the front are stock. Overhanger(steve) can probably chime in and tell you the specifics since he built it. 35's rubbed a little bit but nothing to worry about.

I love my SROR sliders!

They're smoking crack at that price. It is nice though.

Yup, we must be. Steel is cheap, labor is cheap, warehousing is cheap, insurance is cheap, support is cheap, hell the bumper should be cheap, why not :D

We made a small run since I had people commit before the time. We made some extra but they got sold as well. We should be shipping all the bumpers this week. If we get some commitments then we can run another batch.
