Just got my truck back, installed the Slee 2.5 inch medium kit along with the diff drop, and front skid plate. Also threw on the metal tech sliders which I really love. Initial impressions are the ride is firm but not hard, but a little bouncy and I'm getting some tq steer. My lift is very level, I don't know if maybe it's too high in the front and that's why I'm getting the tq steer. What do you guys think?

Stealth looking rig! What size tires? You keeping them or going bigger? They look great - starting to eye possibilities for my 100!

Thanks. They're Kumho's Road Venture 285/75-16. I may eventually throw on some big tires on the stock 18s but for now I'm happy with the 33s.

I had a float feeling with mine level in the front and I lowered the front a little and it then felt normal.

The front is definitely too high. You need some rake for it to handle normal. I felt almost no difference in ride quality before and after the lift because Slee installed it and dialed it in just right, which to me looked like the rear was close to an inch higher than the front end.

Thanks. Will the tbs settle at all, or do they definitely have to be lowered?

Did the same mod and have a creaking sound that increases at acceleration turning left. Level also. So back off tbs and lower ft end an inch might do the trick? Looks like I have plenty of rake.

Looking for some feed back also.

i believe toyota made the clearance higher in the front for off roading performance. most people like the normal level look, but i wouldnt lower the front. limiting yourself in compromising situations is not worth it and way less fun. it kinda defeats the purpose of a lift to me. just make sure you get the rear springs you are looking for in my opinion.

I am also running the Slee suspension, about 2.5" lift, with BIOR diff drop, OME torsion bars, radflo shocks. You definitely need one inch rake on this vehicle, so front should be one inch lower than the rear with your normal load of gear and fuel in the truck. I had torque steer that was driving me crazy and figured out TB's weren't set up right and one side was higher than the other, got it leveled out and torque steer went away.

I'm guessing the choppy ride in the front is because of that too. I checked, my front is actually 1/2 inch higher than the rear.

Yep, my alignment was done. I also had the slee upper control arms put on so I wouldn't have too much strain on the boots. Pretty sure my issues will be resolved once I lower the front a bit.

Try bringing the front height measurement (fender to center of wheel) to about 20.5"

Sure, you'll have lost some front diff clearance but I'll tell you how to get it back. Remove those 20mm spacers you have above your front skid plate. Those spacers were designed for the OE "skid plate" and not required with the Slee plate.

^^ good to know, thank you.

Tbs adjusted, front is now 1 inch lower. Ride and handling are much better now.
