I used the 200 forum because more people frequent the forum.
i recently brought my 2010 tundra 4x4 to get some new struts. The yoyos at the tire shop said they broke my skid control wire. The 4 hi, skid, and ABS light are on.

So my question is; I changed the wire today myself. However the skid light and abs are still on. The 4 hi light is off now. I turned off the the truck twice. I removed positive battery cable. I have NOT checked fuses because it got dark.. Can anyone help. I don't have time to bring it to Toyota.

I'd be all over the morons who caused the problem. It's their issue and they should pay whatever it takes to rectify your problem. Take it to toyota with a blank check from their shop or owner and hope it gets fixed before your patience runs out.

Im guessing its more than just that wire. I believe the traction control uses sensors at each wheel. I bet when they broke that wire doing the install they messed up a sensor or something else as well. The computer might need to be flashed or cleared as well. You will need a Toyota dealer to make this better.

Yep, this has small claims written all over it if the shop doesn't voluntarily make it right.

Well I went to the shop and waited 2 hrs before they even thought about my truck. So I grab the wire and headed to the house. This morning the lights were off and everything seems to work fine. Thanks for the insight.
